October 30, 2017

Things are cooling down outside, and I for one am happy to be pulling out socks and sweaters, and thinking about what makes autumn so cozy - there’s the colors of falling leaves, which always reminds me that letting go is an important aspect of our lives. Saying goodbye to tall, cool drinks and welcoming in a good cup of tea; seeing my long-awaited garden settling in under a blanket of mulch; taking that extra few minutes in the morning to enjoy the warmth of the duvet before my toes hit the floor; basking in the flickering light in the fireplace that says “home is here."

I’m at the final step of getting my first level of certification in Ortho-Bionomy® too—this is the work that opened the door into a new life and career for me, after I experienced what a gentle but deep effect it had on long-held tensions. l would never have thought of going back to school and finding a new passion until the day an amazing woman released my arm from years of numbness and restriction in just a few moments and I’m so excited to be ready to share this with you now!

Wouldn’t a session with me make you feel better prepared for the upcoming hustle and bustle of harvest season celebrations? Imagine yourself relaxed on a comfy table under a warm blanket, soft lights, welcoming scents, and being listened to and cared for and relaxed, floating away from the tensions of everyday life and restoring your mind and body. It’s right up there with a cup of hot chocolate and a toasty fire. You deserve to treat yourself well—so schedule a session of bodywork now!

This month is also about gratitude, recognizing the riches we have and sharing our bounty with our community. I thought to collect cans or food staples to provide assistance to families in need during the holidays, but in talking with Rio Vista Food Pantry, I learned that they can purchase much larger amounts of food than I could collect—
a $1 donation can buy five pounds of meat! So bring a check to them, and you’ll get a $10 discount on your session, as well as recognition from the food pantry for your donation, and the gratitude of someone who needs your help.

I’m grateful to all of you for your trust and support, and hope to see you soon.
